Lunar eclipse November 2020: The last lunar eclipse of the year will take place on November 30. In India, the lunar eclipse 2020 will start at 1:04 pm and end at 5:22 pm.
Chandra Grahan or Lunar Eclipse 2020: A lunar eclipse or Chandra Grahan occurs when the earth blocks the light of the sun from reaching the moon. It happens when the Moon moves into the Earth's shadow. It can happen only when the Sun, the Earth, and the Moon are exactly or very closely aligned -- with the Earth between the two.
This year, a total of four penumbral lunar eclipses were expected to take place, out of which the first lunar eclipse took place on January 10, the second on June 5 and the third on July 5. However, the upcoming and last penumbral lunar eclipse of 2020 is expected to occur this month.
There are three types of lunar eclipses: (a) total, (b) partial, and (c) penumbral. Incidentally, the three previous lunar eclipses that occurred this year were Penumbral.

Different types of Solar Eclipses
Partial Solar Eclipse: A partial solar eclipse happens when the Moon only partially obscures the disk of the Sun and cast only its penumbra on earth.
Annual Solar Eclipse: An annular solar eclipse occurs when the Moon appears smaller than the Sun as it passes centrally across the solar disk and the Sun's outer edges remain visible to form a ring of fire in the sky.
A hybrid solar eclipse is a rare form of a solar eclipse, which changes from an annular to a total solar eclipse, and vice versa, along its path.
